Here's a small gallery of photos from our Christmas Karaoke party. As we had to leave early to meet our daughter I've only got photos of the bravest singers who had a go at the start of the evening. I hear from good sources that the singing continued into the night until chucking out time at 11.30.
Sales manager Peter Brindle showed us the way to Amarillo
Peter Barlow serenaded us with his rendition of "Lady In Red"
Craig Mercer (or is it Neil Diamond)
Max Vidal he's electric
Me and Lauren with our version of "I got you babe"
Well we are back at work and I have to say it is not exactly a hive of activity on the phones. I imagine that we are in the minority opening today but at least it lets us get all the statements out and means that we can start on Monday with a vengeance. The big thing for the next few months will be to get the Sous Vide equipment launched. We are just waiting for a few final bits and the publicity material and we will be ready to go soon.
I hope that everyone has a happy 2009 and that things go really well for you. We had a very nice Christmas at home with the kids who managed to spend a few days at home before heading back to the opposite ends of the country. We didn't do a great deal but enjoyed sitting in front of the log fire and keeping warm. Didn't watch much telly either for a change although we did enjoy "Wallace & Gromit".
FA Cup this weekend so I think I might have a little flutter. It really is a gamble nowadays as you don't know how seriously managers are taking the cup now until the teams are announced.
