Sleeping On The M25

I know that the M25 doesn't run through Dundee where we are staying whilst visiting daughter Sarah in St Andrews but it sure feels like it. The traffic running past the Holiday Inn Express did not stop last night and as I write it's building up even more. Never mind, I can't complain it hasn't cost anything as we used points collected by one of our sales team and kindly donated. Just off to buy a couple of pairs of ear plugs.

Last night we took Sarah and her partner Duncan to Rufflets just outside St Andrews for a very good dinner. The hotel was full of golfers, indeed the whole of St Andrews is full of golfers - that's why we are in Dundee (not because we don't like golfers just St Andrews is full). There are a few vacancies on Wednesday so we may well move away from the M25 for at least one night before getting home to Southport.

Sarah and Duncan's new house is like the tardis inside. Sarah only wants a new kitchen and bathroom (they are both over thirty years old). It would be great if they could get George Clarke to come and help them. Have you seen what he does to places? He really is a brilliant architect.

Oh well we're off to Edinburgh now.I'll leave you with how to peel a banana. It's taken me fifty five years to learn this. And thanks to the wonders of YouTube half a million people now know the method too. Believe me it does work.
