I am delighted to report that our R&D wizards Dave Wilson and Gavin Ford have come up with the ultimate in boiler technology. Hot on the heels of developing our super Sous Vide equipment and our brilliant UCDB range, Dave and Gav have designed the ultimate catering machine. It's not just a boiler. Using the digital settings on the display panel, the user can choose the temperature that they want for each drink with a range from an incredible 110C down to an amazing minus 5C allowing them to serve a scorching cup of tea followed immediately by an ice cold cordial. For bar situations there will be further settings for precise measures of beer, wine and spirits served at exactly the chosen temperature. Aiming towards total energy efficiency and in keeping with our green ethics, Dave and Gav have also developed a method of harmonising waste heat from the unit to power a toaster accessory. Working on just 3kW the units will produce an unacheivable 1,000 litres per hour. Yes 1,000 litres beating just about everything else on the market. The model Instanta 0104 is anticipated to be priced at around £2,000 but as a special offer for today only, dealers registering an interest by contacting Craig in sales will qualify for a massive 75% discount on launch.
Orange Wednesday today and this week it's "The Boat That Rocked". I thought we would watch this before the reviews come out as Richard Curtis' films always get a hammering from the critics although we have always enjoyed them. "Love Actually" got absolutely slated but we loved it- actually.
If I told you that last night I saw a scantily dressed grandma gyrating with four nubile women for a couple of hours you'd be forgiven for thinking I'd popped round to the Home Secretary's to watch a film. But no. This was Tina Turner at the M.E.N Arena. At her age you could excuse Tina if she relaxed and took the Stannah Stairlift shilling but the only hydraulics she needed was a gigantic platform that lifted her twenty feet above the audience for a roof raising finale of Nut Bush City Limits. The concert in a word - fantastic. Beg, steal or borrow to get there. I heard that Tina was unwell recently and had to cancel a couple of shows but she has made a complete recovery. Another person who is not very well at the moment is poor Lauren (above). She has a very sore foot and has been at the hospital for some considerable time while the doctors investigate. If you read this Lauren, get well soon.
We did it. So a big raspberry to those who said that we would never get our sous vide equipment onto the market. Here are the first photos. We are working flat out on the brochure and will have stock on the shelves by the end of the month. Make sure that you are on our mailing list to ensure that we get the literature to you when it arrives.
I will finish with a super little YouTube video that's just right for today.
