In Pursuit Of Perfection

I mentioned yesterday that our daughter in law Josephine has a new show in production. It's called Perfection and it will be airing on BBC2 at 4.30pm in the near future. Josephine developed this show for her company 12Yard and we are very proud of her achievement and creativity. It will be presented by Nick Knowles who presents another 12Yard hit show "Who Dares Wins" and Marion and I are going to watch some recordings next Wednesday. We are really looking forward to it. I've read a review of the show on one of the Internet game show fan sites. After going to a recording at the weekend they scored it 7/10 which is pretty good as nobody is as critical as the game show fanatics who live for game shows and run those sites.

Which means that we might be in for a very busy week as Paul's show Magic Numbers starts on Saturday 17 July. As this will be going out live we will need to be back in London again on the Saturday if Paul can get us some tickets. It promises to be a great Saturday night show and we're very excited about it. Make sure that you watch it.

In the world of work, and out of proud parent mode, I am really pleased to see that the new WA10N boilers are starting to take off. Made in response to the success of our WA5 wall mounted boilers, we launched the WA2N, WA5N and WA10N in March and, whilst the 2 and 10 litre versions have not matched the popular 5 litre models yet, the growth in sales is extremely encouraging.

With the World Cup entering its final stages now with the semi-finals today and tomorrow I have to say thank heavens for Germany. I have not watched too many matches live but Germany have made for compulsive viewing. Their football has never been boring and the fluidity of their play has been a joy to watch. I hope that new Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson has been watching and taking notes. They are the one team that truly deserve to win the tournament and I do hope that they overcome Spain in tomorrow's big match. Deutschland Uber Alles.Lets hope that they add a World Cup to go along with their Eurovision success.
