In the best possible way of course.
Last night 33 of us went to the Super Bowl in Southport for a couple of games of ten pin bowling and some cordon bleu food (I wish). A great evening was enjoyed by all and the team from our metal working section came out way on top with a score of 1157 over two games. Pictured below is team captain Kev Marshall who scored 334 over the two games with his closest rival Tony Mercer some 70 points behind (so you could say that it was a pretty convincing win).

And here is the successful bowling team. Pictured from left to right Kirk Harrison (218), Kev Marshall(334), Craig Peach(246), Daz Rodwell (173) and Gaz Rodwell (183).
Instanta takes over Super Bowl
The final standings were
Metalwork 1157
Assembly 2 989
Office 2 951
Assembly 1 950
Stores 901
Office 1 881
My own team Office 1 was pretty hopeless ending up rock bottom.
Our financial year ended last week so we are busy trying to finalise the accounts. As an ex-banker figures are very important to me and I am keen to find out exactly how well we did. It will probably be a couple of months before the auditors sign them off but we usually get to within a few pounds of their figures and pay them about 8 grand for the privilege.
Thinking back to our soccer match last week and the antics of a couple of our lads, here is a player they could learn a thing or two from.
