I don't want to sound like a stuck record as I know that I have written about this before but as it is something that I feel passionately about here we go again.
How many sales reps are out on the road in the UK today?
I can't find the answer but it is going to be thousands.
How many are in each car?
Almost certainly 1.
How many miles will they travel?
Perhaps a couple of hundred each.
Hundreds will have appointments cancelled. Hundreds will miss appointments due to traffic jams.
Some of them will make some sales but at what cost to their business? And at what cost to the environment?
Almost all customer contact staff at Instanta have web cams and can be contacted on SKYPE. Sadly the web cams are gathering dust and cobwebs as nobody seems to have cottoned on to the benefits they offer.
Energy saving obviously.
But so much more than that.
More time for the family.
Huge money savings.
And most importantly. The ability for them to see so many more customers.
You know it makes sense.
